A special mention should be made of our visionaries, a few of whom are no longer with us but their vision, guidance and blessings have always served as a guiding and motivating force and will always remain so.
Late (Capt.) D.S. Verma
Born in a teacher’s family in Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh and later working in defence forces , his postings in different parts of the country gave him the chance to see the people of many regions of India from close quarters. He found people at many places in great distress and educationally backward , bereft of even primary education and medical facilities and other basic amenities of life. Seeing these conditions, he resolved to devote the rest of his life to the cause of upliftment of the people ,to spread knowledge and awareness and to make suitable arrangements for spreading education and do all things necessary for the intellectual, social and economic upliftment of the people to the best of his capacity and resources. After his retirement, he was actively involved in managing educational institutions and spreading knowledge and awareness and inculcating moral values among the young generation that motivated them to excel in life as well as contribute to our society. Aadharshila Public School is being managed by a trust named after him in his fond remembrance by his family, relatives and admirers who felt that no tribute can be better to him than working on the path and cherishing and striving for the goals and aspirations and ideals he laid for us.
Late Dr. Vikram Singh
Dr. Vikram Singh was an eminent educationist who was also a doctorate .He did his M.Sc. in 1954 and MS from Cornell University (United States) in the year 1961. He also did his Phd. from Cornell University (United States) in 1969. He was the Project director of Oil Seeds Research, ICAR, India from 1978 to 1981. He was a professor of Agronomy and retired as Director,Research from GovindBallabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) in the year 1994. He really will be a guiding force for the trust .
Air Cmde. (retd.) Virendra Singh Verma
Air Commodore V.S. Verma is an Ex- Indian Air Force officer who retired in the year 1991. He was selected for a diplomatic assignment and posted to High Commission of India London ,UK as First secretary on 31 July 1980 for a period of 3 years. He held a rank of Wing Commander at that time.To give an idea about his academic profile,he did his M.Sc from Agra University, Diploma in Systems Management from Mumbai University,Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Polytechnic College of London (UK), Diploma in National Security Management from Industrial College of Armed Forces Washington (USA), Long Defence Management Course from Hyderabad ( equivalent to MBA).He was also the director of an aviation Company after the retirement. With the wisdom of age and experience and exposure, he is an asset to the Trust. He is really adapt in providing a strong value proposition for the systems and processes by building and bonding talents as a cohesive team with unity of purpose permitting to meet result oriented goals.
